3 youth prevented from joining militancy in Bandipora: Police | KNO

Bandipora, June 29 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have prevented three youth from joining militant ranks in north Kashmir's Bandipora district. In a tweet, Bandipora police informed that they have prevented three youth from joining militancy by counseling, guidance and support and welcome them to the path of peace, progress and success. However, a senior police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the names and the residential proof have been kept confidential. The youth were taken to Police Station where they were properly counselled in presence of their family members following which they were handed over to their families—(KNO)
